Mike Danger was the stage name of John Michael Apperson, best known for being a wrestler, singer, standup comic, daredevil, wearing a fluorescent Mohawk-style haircut, loud attire and incorporating a chainsaw into his stage antics -much of which he accomplished after losing his eyesight in his late twenties due to diabetes and an automobile accident.
In his younger days, he was a world competition skateboarder and the subject of over one-hundred articles in various surf and skateboard magazines, also in various newspapers, including one in the Pensacola News-Journal on August 5, 1987.
