R. K. "Skip" Hunter is a retired insurance executive, former attorney (licensed in Alabama) and philanthropist.
Philanthropy and community service[edit]
In 2006, Hunter announced he would donate $1 million for the construction of a concert shell as part of the Community Maritime Park project. In 2005 he contributed $120,000 to the local United Way.
He is also a member of the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra board.
