Upon admission to the Florida Bar, Autumn practiced with the Tallahassee law firm of Cooper, Byrne, Blue and Schwartz, P.A. in the areas of insurance defense, contract disputes, sexual harassment, and other workplace issues. She then became Political Action Committee Director and Legislative Counsel for the Florida Chamber of Commerce where she lobbied the Florida Legislature on business related issues.
