{{Infobox Biography
| subject_name =Rebekah Allen
After graduating from Louisiana State University and participating in multiple journalism internships, Rebekah Allen moved to Pensacola to take a job as a staff reporter with the Pensacola News Journal.
During her tenure at the News Journal, Allen has advanced through multiple areas of expertise and is now assigned to a beat as the Escambia County education reporter. Outside of her professional life, Allen is a noted advocate of cat-related activities. She enjoys frequent discussions about the idiosyncrasies of feline behavior, and prior to holidays, she can be found shopping for cat clothing of an "irregular" nature. Allen is especially enamored with feline head-wear. Shortly after St. Patrick's Day in 2009, Allen submitted a photograph of her cat, clothed in a green leprechaun hat, to the News Journal for publication. The photo was subsequently featured prominently in the Life section of the paper. Allen's cat, a small domestic short hair named Frank, is extraordinarily tolerant of Allen, and at times, seems slightly amused by her attempts to engage him in play using a wide variety of multicolored and feathered toys.
