The UWF Board of Trustees is the 13-member governing body of the University of West Florida. Six members are appointed to four-year terms by the state governor, and five are appointed by the Florida Board of Governors, all subject to approval by the State Senate. The remaining two positions are held by the UWF Faculty Senate president and the UWF Student Government Association president.
