Michael James DeSorbo is a former member of the Pensacola City Council. He served on the Pensacola City Council from 1986-93 and was Mayor Pro tem and Chairman of the Community Redevelopement Agency. He returned to the City Council in 1995. He served as Chairman of the Finance Committee and a member of the Enterprise Operations Committee, the Community Redevelopment Agency and the Committee of the Whole. He represented the City Council on the Metropolitan Planning Organization, the Pensacola Escambia Development Commission, and the Tourism Development Council.
Mike currently is employed as a Property Manager and also is working with his son, Michael DeSorbo, in his new catering business, Culinary Productions.
Throughout the years, Mike DeSorbo has actively been involved in numerous community and civic organizations. He is very active in the Men's Senior Travel Softball League.
Mike is a member of St. Paul's Catholic Parish. He and his wife Millie have two children.
