Marty Donovan (b. 1950) is a former member of the Pensacola City Council, representing District 4 from 2001 to 2008.
Donovan, broker and owner of Donovan Realty, is a graduate of Sacred Heart School, Pensacola Catholic High School and Auburn University. A Pensacola resident since 1956, he is Co-Chairman of the Bayou Texar Foundation and a director of the Escambia Bay Marine Institute, a school program for troubled teens. Involved with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Marty was the 1996 Big Brother of the Year.
Elected to the City Council in 2001, Donovan has also served on the City of Pensacola Citizens’ Committee for Bayou Texar/Carpenters Creek Storm Water Assessment, the Escambia County Citizens’ Task Force on Urban Storm Water Runoff, the City’s Code Enforcement Board and the Escambia County Zoning Board of Adjustment.
